Sonographic Evaluation Of Painful Shoulder - Case Report

Abstract :

Presenting the case of an old patient with painful shoulder, with an impingement syndrome and supraspinatus tendinopathy, with no response to appropriate therapeutic approach. As the patient could not undergo MRI and diagnostic arthroscopy, the ultrasonographic examination concludes the diagnosis to a supraspinatus complete tear with glenohumeral reaction and according to that treatment was advised, which proved to be successful.
