This was a descriptive cross sectional study conducted in teritiary care hospital of kashmir valley. 77 patients were enrolled in the study with documented osteoporosis who received 5 mg zolindronic acid infusion with adequate prior hydration. All pts were followed for immediate adverse effects following infusion. Mild symptoms did occur in the form of fever, arthralgias, myalgias, muscle cramps and nausea.
